Epic 686 8'6" 6wt glass rod built for Donald
A gorgeous custom fly fishing rod built on the acclaimed Epic 686 blank from Swift Fly Fishing. This is an awesome blank and a great complement to the slower action Kabuto 8053 that we built previously for Donald. The rod, in Salsa colour, was finished with clear wraps with black trim bands. The guides are smoked and including the agate guide that was selected to complement the rod colour. A smoked Lemke reel seat has been finished with a beautiful piece of olive wood from Bethlehem that we turned for the rod. The cork grip is by the customer's request and is a little unusual but matches the Kabuto rod that we built before - it really looks great.
