Kabuto 8053 8'0 5wt Amber Custom Glass Fly Rod custom built for Donald
Another beautiful Kabuto 8'0" 5wt built for Donald. This one uses Lemke reel seat hardware and a beautiful piece of Karelian birch for the reel seat insert. Snake brand guides used throughout with a lovely agate guide from J. E. Arguello to highlight the piece. Donald asked for a reverse wells grip in Flor grade cork and finished with a 45 degree angled nose. Quite elegant and works very well with this beautiful rod which has been wrapped with orange and black YLI Japanese silk.
